So, in no particular order, here are the top ten weirdest bible verses:
1. Jonah lived in the belly of a fish for three days and nights. (Matthew 12:40)
2. Isaiah walks around naked for 3 years. (Isa 20:3 NRSV)
3. Lots daughters have sex with him. (Gen 19:31-35 NRSV)
4. A wall falls on 27,000 Aramean soldiers. (1 Ki 20:28-30 NRSV)
5. Adam and God search the animals for a partner for Adam. (Gen 2:20-21 NRSV)
6. God threatens people with having to eat their children’s flesh. (Lev 26:27-29 NRSV)
7. Zombies wander the streets of Jerusalem after the resurrection. (Mat 27:50-53 NRSV)
8. Elijah burns 51 men to death to show he is a man of God. (2 Ki 1:10 NRSV)
9. Elisha has jeering children mauled by bears. (2 Ki 2:22-24 NRSV)
10. A woman is given to be raped by a mob and upon returning her husband slices her to pieces. (Judg 19:22-29 NRSV)
